A few words about the coming workshop
The core is a trendy concept, it can refer to the structural aspect of our body as well as the muscular. When it comes to yoga it is much more than just that.
Exploring our core is an all-encompassing endeavor that requires us to look closely into our body and mind.
This is a practical workshop that is meant to guide you through a process of exploration of an experience of deep center on all levels. From purely muscular activations, to particular ways of arranging the body in space and gravity, as well as the more subtle aspects of breath and awareness.
The yoga tradition offers various ideas and techniques that target this particular dimension of our being. Expect some discussion about yoga philosophy and how it applies in our practice.
Wear your yoga clothes, expect to do a practice, everyone is welcome at all levels of yoga experience.

A few words about the coming workshop
Most of us carry a set of ideas of how a yoga pose should be done, where the feet should be placed, should the legs be straight or bent, how should the arms be. However, these templates were meant to be a starting point for a process of exploration, adaptation, and refinement, not to be followed religiously. Afterall, we are all different, it would not make sense to blindly conform to generic shapes.
In this practice / workshop we will breakdown some of the most familiar classic yoga postures and discover new ways of doing them that stay true to their essence and spirit, but allow for much more freedom and individualization.
We will examine our beliefs regarding our own body and our relationship with different yoga postures and movements, and we will break the "rules" and try to have fun doing so. Hopefully, you will come away with many different ideas and pathways to reset and refresh your practice.
Expect to be challenged, not necessarily physically, and at the same time develop a better understanding of what fits your unique body and personality best, and how to treat yourself with kindness when you practice yoga.
Wear your yoga clothes, everyone is welcome at all levels of yoga experience.
