A few words about the coming workshop
Yoga postures often ask us to form simple geometrical shapes with our body which is actually full of a complex networks of spiraling fibers. We can benefit tremendously from being more aligned with that as well as using resistance to manage our efforts more intelligently and enhance different internal experiences.
In this workshop we will explore in theory and practice how to create a complementary layer of circular spiraling intention when we hold yoga postures that seem to want us to organize our body in straight lines. We will also take a look at some common movement patterns to find some of that same thing. Hopefully that will lead us to refining our practice and moving towards more subtle experiences in our body, breath and mind.
We will also explore some ideas related to isometric activation, using the ground and other surfaces for resistance that can be translated into more stability, mobility, and eventually more ease in our practice.
SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE!

A few words about the coming workshop
Meditation is yoga. It is considered the highest form of yoga practice, while Asana (yoga postures and movements) are meant to prepare the body and mind so there is sufficient steadiness that allows one to sit for longer stretches of time and drop into a deep state of meditation.
In this workshop we will discuss why meditating is such an important part of an effective yoga practice, we will go over some of the basic techniques in theory and practice, and we will also explore more challenging aspects of this practice that are commonly referred to as non-dual mindfulness.
No prior experience is needed!
