SPECIAL CLASS: SUBTLE FORMS OF YOGA

In this class we will focus on the more subtle forms of the yoga practice, we will explore awakening our pelvic floor and naval regions and integrate these complex patterns into our regular yoga practice. These patterns are called in the yoga terminology - "Mula Bandha" and "Uddiyana Bandha".
When it comes to the subtle forms of yoga practice, one must create the conditions that allow these patterns to arise, and then let the outcome be as it is, thus a certain amount of surrender is required.
It is more suited for those with some yoga experience, but complete beginners can join as well and receive some benefits.

Theme: The Four Angels
The Four Angles is a term used by Richard Freeman to describe the four corners of the pelvic floor which are the pubic bone, tail bone, and the two sit bones. Discovering the pelvic floor is the key for taking our yoga practice to the next level, from the gross to the subtle experience.
Learning how to tone specific and delicate muscles in that area, with extreme delicate intention, has the potential to change profoundly the way we hold ourselves, move in space, and breathe. It requires a perfect balance between effort and surrender.
This is a recurring yoga masterclass suitable for people with an inquisitive mind,
who are looking for a deeper understanding of the yoga path,
preferably with a minimum of one year of continuous yoga practice.
What will we do in this class?
> Dharma talk - a short conversation about a topic related to yoga.
> Workshop - a short workshop in which we go over a concept
or technique related to the practical application of yoga.
> Asana - a practice of yoga postures and movements with a specific focus.
> Pranyama - a seated breathing practice.
> Meditation - a seated contemplative practice.
> Asana Lab - a deep-dive analysis of yoga postures.
> Q&A - prepare any question or concern you would like to discuss,
whether regarding your practice, a specific posture or technique,
yoga philosophy, or any other matter of interest to you.
A short bio of me, Oren
I have been a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga for almost 15 years, and teaching full time for about 8 years. I am trying, to the best of my abilities, to apply my daily practice to everyday life, interactions and relationships. I also try to share my experiences and realizations in a non-dogmatic way, giving equal space to the ancient wisdom of yoga as well as to a modern scientific rational approach.
Some of the teachers who had a strong influence on me over the years are Richard Freeman, AG & Ganesh Mohan, Leslie Kaminoff, Maty Ezraty, and even though I never met him - Mr. TKV Desikachar.
I am also an avid Vipassana meditator.
